Why Website Accessibility Matters (And Not Just Because the Law Says So)
It’s about building a web that works for everyone.
The Massachusetts Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Commission needed a digital space of their own—one that could support the agency’s evolving responsibilities and provide a clear, trustworthy resource for the public. Operating within the state’s larger web system made it difficult to publish updates in a timely way or to reflect the commission’s unique mission and brand identity.
We worked closely with POST to design and develop a standalone website that puts clarity and accessibility front and center. Built on a user-friendly CMS, the new site gives their team full control over content updates—critical for an agency tasked with maintaining transparency and public trust. The design balances professionalism with approachability, helping to communicate complex information in a way that’s easy to navigate and understand.
With its own digital home, the POST Commission is now equipped to share updates, resources, and policy information quickly and reliably. The site reflects the agency’s commitment to accountability, while giving them the autonomy they need to do their work efficiently and effectively.
