Why Website Accessibility Matters (And Not Just Because the Law Says So)
It’s about building a web that works for everyone.
The Upper Valley Trails Alliance (UVTA) promotes active lifestyles and sustainable trail use across communities in Vermont and New Hampshire. Their previous website had become outdated, difficult to update, and wasn’t delivering the kind of engaging, user-friendly experience they wanted for their community of outdoor enthusiasts, volunteers, and donors.
MRW Connected migrated UVTA to a modern, responsive WordPress platform, giving them a streamlined backend and a fresh new design that reflects their mission and energy. We focused on simplifying navigation, improving mobile accessibility, and making it easier for staff to update events, trail information, and program content. We also integrated tools for collecting online donations and memberships, making it easier than ever for supporters to get involved. The result is a flexible, user-friendly site that helps UVTA connect with its audience—and keeps them coming back for more miles of inspiration.
